A Place at the Table 2026
This year’s annual “A Place at the Table” event is set for Thursday, October 15th, from 6:30 to 9 PM with doors opening at 6:00 PM at Bread & Chocolate in Goshen.
This event is a memorable evening filled with delicious food, great music, bar, silent auction and testimonies. We’re excited to make this year’s event even better!

Empty Bowl Project 2026
The annual Empty Bowl event is back, and you can reserve your bowl today! We’re thrilled to announce that it will take place on Saturday, March 21st. A special thanks to the wonderful individuals at Goshen Clay Artists Guild for handcrafting the bowls once again this year. They are invaluable community partners.
To achieve our fundraising goals for this event, we aim to sell 400 bowls. Will you join us in reaching this number? Your support makes a huge difference.
- Date & Time: Saturday, March 21st, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Location: Goshen First Church, 214 S. Fifth Street, Goshen
- What’s Included: Donate $20 and receive a handmade bowl created by the Goshen Clay Artists Guild, plus free soup!
- Soup Selection: Enjoy 100 gallons of soup, generously donated by 20 local restaurants, organizations, and individuals.
- Significance: 100% of the proceeds will benefit First Light Mission, a local homeless shelter supporting children and families.
- Why Attend: Taste a variety of delicious soups, take home a unique handmade bowl, and support a great cause that directly helps the community.
