MISSION STATEMENT
First Light Mission is devoted to providing a place of refuge and fresh starts for the homeless in crisis by providing resources and temporary shelter in partnership with congregations and the community.
OUR HOMELESS SHELTER
In 2022, First Light Mission partnered with Goshen Community Schools and we moved into the Old Merit Learning Center (Riverdale Elementary). We have full use of the entire building and have been able to add additional services due to this partnership. We have been able to expand beds to 43 from the original 15 we started with. We are very grateful for our fixed site and permanent home.
